AI Engineer
We’re working with a fast-growing UK AI company developing advanced machine learning technology around large-scale behavioural and transactional data.
They’re looking for an AI Engineer who enjoys sitting between research and engineering — taking new ideas across predictive ML, causal modelling and Generative AI and turning them into robust production systems.
Where you’ll make an impact
- Take new ML and AI models from research into production
- Work across traditional ML, deep learning, transformers and Generative AI
- Build solutions around large-scale, complex datasets
- Work closely with researchers, academics, product and engineering teams
- Contribute to architecture and longer-term technical roadmaps
- Lead and contribute to R&D sprints
- Build reliable, high-quality ML software
What we’re looking for
- Strong Python and SQL
- Experience deploying machine learning into production
- Solid knowledge of traditional ML techniques
- Understanding of deep learning and transformers
- Exposure to Generative AI
- Statistical knowledge and an interest in causal modelling
- Experience with GitHub and CI/CD
- MSc or PhD is beneficial, but not essential
