A London-based finance start-up (80 employees) is expanding its Portugal branch and seeking talent to disrupt the FinTech industry. With a CTO from a major online retailer, the company offers lending services across various sectors and has ambitious plans. Collaborate with senior team members and product managers in a cross-functional environment.

💻 Tech stack: PHP, Kotlin, microservices, public cloud, BDD, TDD
The initial work will be in PHP before you begin the migration to Kotlin🚀 (Kotlin training is provided if you have come from a different JVM background)

The ideal Senior Software Engineer candidate will have:
* Strong PHP software development background
* Familiar commercial expertise in the JVM stack (either Java, Scala or Kotlin)
* A desire to learn and work with Kotlin
* Exposure to Microservices architecture and API development
* Experience using modern development techniques such as TDD, BDD, and Agile approaches.
