Principal Software Engineer
📍 Location: London (Old Street) - On-site presence required for 2 days per month (flexible)
💰 Salary: £95,000 - £115,000 + Benefits

This opportunity is 80% hands-on, 20% hands-off (with people management)💻
Requirements for the Principal Software Engineer position:
- Backend proficiency in Java/Kotlin/Scala (preference for Kotlin, but openness to any JVM language).
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, including people management and direct reports, providing technical leadership, formulating technical strategies, making decisions on solutions, and implementing robust practices.
- Experience in constructing infrastructure, utilising AWS, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code.
- Architectural design capabilities.
- Skill in ensuring quality assurance
- Be a strong advocate for modern practices, including pair programming, Agile methodologies, TDD, BDD, CI/CD
