Lead AI Automation Engineer - Platform & Automation
Hybrid - Basingstoke - 2/3 times a week
Team: Platform Engineering

Join a forward-thinking team driving secure, efficient practices across this global health tech. As part of the new enterprise platform engineering team, you'll play a vital role in advancing the technical capabilities and contributing to their growth.
Key responsibilities:
Drive platform and automation capabilities, coordinate team tasks to meet project deadlines, collaborate on engineering initiatives to promote secure and efficient practices, identify continuous improvement opportunities, mentor talented engineers, and support application and engineering teams.
Skills:
- Strong coding skills in Python and TypeScript
- Hands-on experience with the core technologies (Terraform, Ansible, Packer, TypeScript).
- Experience with Cloud Native design patterns, particularly Microsoft Azure / Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with automation tooling and technologies.
- Experience supporting digital platforms and scaling API ecosystems.
- Solid understanding of networking, security, and system administration.
- Proficiency in containerization tools and infrastructure as code (IaC).
