REMOTE Java Software Engineer with Kafka - Brand New Team! 🚗

💰 Salary: up to £75,000 + bonus + medical & dental + 40 days work abroad p/year + benefits

🚩 Location: FULLY REMOTE in the UK (expectation to go into the London (SE1) office once every 2 months)

The company have chosen to expand their client needs by building a BRAND NEW team which will open up the compatibility of their products to even more vehicle manufacturers. This company is backed by automotive industry experts such as the AA and on top of luxury vehicle brands, their software is also used by every AA van in the country.

💻 Tech stack: Java 11+, SpringBoot, microservices, Kafka/Kafka Streams, AWS

⚠️ Kafka/Kafka Streams experience is an essential requirement!

They seek someone who is excited about working in a 'start-up' mindset environment (despite being well-established) and passionate about working with the most modern Java tools and stack!

As the Java Software Engineer, you'll work with your team to design and develop high-performance, scalable systems and building new features/functionality for new vehicle manufacturers looking to upgrade the systems and software for both luxury and commercial cars. The team is highly collaborative, working in a TDD and BDD environment with the latest software development practices and methodologies 🤝🏼
