Growth Engineer London (Hybrid – 4 days in the office) | up to £90,000 + Equity
Build the AI operating system behind a fast-growing startup.
We're looking for a Growth Engineer to join one of London's most exciting AI startups.
This isn't a traditional software engineering role. You won't be building customer-facing features.
Instead, you'll build the systems that power how the business grows.
Think AI agents. Internal products. Workflow automation. Data pipelines. Commercial intelligence. LLM-powered tooling. Everything that helps a startup scale faster.
You'll work directly with the founders, identifying manual processes across sales, marketing and operations before replacing them with intelligent systems that save hours every week.
If you've ever looked at a repetitive business process and thought "I could automate all of this", you'll probably enjoy this role.
What you'll be building
- AI agents using Claude and modern LLM tooling
- Python services and internal applications
- APIs and workflow automations
- Lead generation and enrichment platforms
- Intelligent CRM and sales tooling
- Marketing automation systems
- Internal dashboards and reporting
- Business-critical automation used every day
You'll own projects from idea to production and have the freedom to experiment, iterate quickly and ship.
You'll probably have
- 2-5 years of software engineering experience
- Strong Python, TypeScript or similar
- Experience building with APIs
- SQL and data skills
- Experience using LLMs beyond prompting
- A passion for automation and AI
- A builder's mindset—you'd rather ship than spend weeks planning
Experience with tools such as Claude, Clay, Apollo, HubSpot, Salesforce, MCP, agent frameworks or workflow automation is a big plus but not essential.
Why join?
- Work directly with the founders.
- Build systems that shape how the company grows.
- Competitive salary plus meaningful equity.
- Huge ownership from day one.
- Join an AI-native business where automation isn't a buzzword—it's how the company operates.
- Define what Growth Engineering looks like as the business scales.
If you're excited by AI, automation and building products that make an entire company faster, we'd love to hear from you.
