Machine Learning Engineer – LLMs

Want to build LLM-powered systems that have to work reliably in the real world?

We’re looking for an exceptional Machine Learning Engineer to help build and deploy production-grade AI systems, with a particular focus on LLMs and modern generative AI.

This isn’t a research-only role. You’ll work across models, data, evaluation and production systems - turning the latest advances in AI into reliable, high-impact products.

What you’ll do

• Build and ship LLM-powered features and systems into production
• Design robust evaluation frameworks to measure and improve model performance
• Experiment with prompting, fine-tuning, retrieval and agentic approaches
• Build data and ML pipelines that support rapid experimentation at scale
• Optimise models and inference for latency, reliability and cost
• Work closely with software, product and domain experts to solve difficult real-world problems
• Help shape the company’s ML architecture, tooling and technical direction

You’ll ideally bring:

• Excellent Python and software engineering skills
• Strong experience with PyTorch and modern ML tooling
• Hands-on experience building applications with LLMs
• A strong understanding of transformers, embeddings and modern NLP
• Experience with LLM evaluation, fine-tuning, RAG and/or agentic systems
• Experience taking ML models from experimentation through to production
• Strong judgement around model quality, data, performance and trade-offs
