The Opportunity
We're partnered with a fast-growing, VC-backed tech company to scale their developer-focused SaaS platform. As a Staff Backend Engineer, you'll architect and build high-impact features in Golang, mentor engineers, and shape the future of a product used by thousands of developers globally.
What You'll Do
Design, build, and optimize a scalable SaaS platform in Golang, solving complex infrastructure challenges.
Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver developer-centric tools with exceptional usability and performance.
Ensure reliability and scalability as the platform grows, with a focus on Kubernetes ecosystems.
Mentor team members and advocate for engineering best practices.
Requirements
5+ years of backend development experience, with 3+ years in Golang.
Proven track record building distributed, cloud-native systems.
Deep expertise in API design, relational databases, and Kubernetes operators/controllers.
Passion for developer experience and open-source culture.
Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset.
Based in North America.
Nice-to-Haves
Contributions to open-source infrastructure projects.
Experience with PaaS/IaaS or large-scale developer tools.
