Senior Agile Scrum Master (Energy Sector)
Contract Length: 6-12 Months (likely to extend)
Location: Remote (occasional travel to Newcastle)
Day Rate: £550-£600 Inside IR35
Start Date: ASAP
We're seeking a highly experienced Senior Scrum Master to lead Phase 4 of a major Energy sector programme. This phase focuses on delivering a high-performance system processing millions of data points, working with a globally distributed, senior-level team, and driving results under tight deadlines.
Key Experience Required
* Proven track record delivering complex software projects as a Scrum Master
* Expertise with Azure DevOps for backlog management, reporting, and delivery tracking
* Experience leading distributed teams in high-pressure environments
* Strong risk, dependency, and constraint management skills
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication abilities
* Understanding of performance/volume testing for scalable solutions
Bonus Points
* Energy sector experience with large datasets
* Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
* Background in software development or database management
