Role: Quant Developer (C++)

Location: On-Site in Dubai (relocation + visa is supported)

Salary: Up to $280k + performance bonus + internal fund investment

A leading global trading firm, operating high-performance systems and latency-sensitive strategies is expanding its C++ Quant Engineering Team. We’re looking for an experienced Quant Developer to build, optimise, and maintain strategy code that powers real-time trading used by world-class traders and researchers.

This is a rare opportunity to sit directly between quant research, trading logic, and high-performance C++ engineering, with full ownership over production strategies that directly impact trading performance and P&L.

You’ll work in a deeply technical environment that values precision, speed, clean engineering, and tight collaboration with traders.

What You’ll Do

  • Deep-dive into existing strategies and internal low-latency infrastructure
  • Maintain and improve performance of live trading strategies through refactoring, profiling, and optimisation
  • Collaborate with quant researchers to translate models into production-ready C++ (17/20) implementations
  • Design and implement new trading strategies with ultra-low-latency execution in mind
  • Own latency-critical components across the stack to reduce tick-to-trade times
  • Use monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana) to observe live behaviour, latency, and P&L signals

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have a strong quantitative foundation: algorithms, statistics, financial math, and data structures
  • Bring experience with trading systems, market microstructure, or high-frequency/low-latency strategy work
  • Be highly proficient with modern C++ (17/20) and performance-driven systems engineering
  • Demonstrate strong understanding of multithreading, concurrency, and lock-free programming
  • Have experience with real-time monitoring/observability tools
  • Understand networking concepts (TCP/UDP, Multicast, FIX) — a bonus
  • Hold a degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or similar quantitative discipline
  • Show high initiative, attention to detail, and the ability to own complex systems end-to-end
  • Thrive working closely with traders and researchers in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment

If this Quant Developer opportunity sounds of interest, please apply to the advert and I will be in touch!
