The Opportunity
Join a fast-growing AI company spun out from world-class academic research and now partnering with major brands like Boots. You’ll help design, build, and scale intelligent systems that make a tangible difference across healthcare, mobility, and retail, turning cutting-edge machine learning into production-ready solutions that impact millions.
You’ll work end-to-end on model development and deployment, from data pipelines and experimentation to production and monitoring, shaping how AI moves from research to real-world use.
What You’ll Do
- Design, implement, and optimise ML models for large-scale behavioural and temporal data
- Build and maintain robust, cloud-based data and model pipelines
- Deploy, monitor, and iterate on production ML systems (forecasting, classification, behavioural modelling)
- Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product teams to deliver scalable, explainable AI solutions
- Contribute to MLOps best practices, experimentation frameworks, and model governance
What You Bring
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
- 2+ years’ experience in applied ML, data engineering, or AI systems development
- Strong skills in Python (pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch/TensorFlow) and SQL
- Experience with cloud platforms and modern ML infrastructure (e.g. Databricks, MLflow, Docker, CI/CD)
- A practical mindset, curious, experimental, and focused on real-world delivery
Why Join
- Work with a modern AI/ML stack (Python, SQL, Databricks, cloud-first)
- Bridge research and production, building AI that genuinely matters
- Collaborate in a lean, ambitious team backed by deep technical expertise
- 30 days holiday, flexible working, and a culture built on curiosity and innovation
This is a chance to engineer AI that moves beyond prototypes, bringing real, measurable impact to how organizations make decisions and how people experience the world.
