We’re looking for a strategic and visionary leader to build and lead a world-class data science organisation at a company redefining how AI accelerates biomedical innovation.
This role goes beyond technical delivery — you’ll shape the company’s data science vision, set strategy, and empower a growing team to translate advanced ML research into breakthroughs that impact human health.
Your Mission
- Lead with vision: Define the data science roadmap and long-term strategy
- Build capability: Recruit, develop, and inspire a high-performing team
- Drive execution: Oversee the design and deployment of scalable ML systems
- Champion excellence: Uphold scientific rigour, reproducibility, and technical standards
- Influence at scale: Collaborate with senior leadership, researchers, and partners
- Represent the company: Be the data science voice at conferences and industry forums
You Bring
- Proven success building and leading data science or ML teams
- Strong technical foundation in time-series ML, probabilistic modelling, or advanced analytics
- Hands-on experience taking ML research into production environments
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
- PhD in a quantitative field (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years’ experience, including leadership in fast-moving research or tech settings
