Senior Full-Stack Engineer | Agentic Social Platform x AI
$120k to $300k base + 0.2% to 0.5% equity + benefits
San Francisco (on-site, full-time)
Build in-person with the founders, product, and research team (this is not a remote role).
The mission:
Build the first fully agentic social platform where AI does the heavy lifting: learning user preferences, finding compatible matches, and turning “we should hang out” into real-world plans. Dating is the wedge. The ambition is bigger: rewire how people meet across the entire social scene.
This is a consumer product with real stakes and real feedback loops. You ship, people use it, and your work either moves the needle or it doesn’t. No hiding behind internal dashboards forever.
What you will do:
- Own end-to-end development of a customer-facing social networking experience
- Build internal tooling used by both humans and AI agents to operate the platform
- Ship fast in an iterative environment: prototype → test → production → scale
- Optimise applications for speed and reliability (frontend performance, backend throughput, queues, caches)
- Collaborate closely with product design, leadership, and research to turn new ideas into shipped features
What you will bring:
- 3+ years building product as a full-stack or frontend-leaning engineer who can still hold their own on backend
- Strong fundamentals in data structures and algorithms (you can reason, not just glue libraries together)
- Proficiency with TypeScript + React + Next.js (or equivalent modern web stack)
- Backend experience (TypeScript preferred; Bun or Nest.js are a plus)
- Exposure to AI/ML pipelines (no required stack, just practical familiarity)
- The ability to move fast when things are loosely defined, with competing priorities and real deadlines
