As customer demand has accelerated, the business has evolved into specialised implementation teams dedicated to delivering high-quality, production-ready AI solutions — quickly, reliably, and at scale.
This is a hands-on engineering role at the intersection of software development, AI tooling, and automation. It’s ideal for engineers who enjoy building real-world systems, want meaningful exposure to modern AI-driven development, and are motivated by shipping impactful solutions rather than conducting pure research.
The Role
As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you’ll be responsible for implementing, configuring, and deploying AI-powered virtual agents directly into customer environments. You’ll work with established internal frameworks and tooling, focusing on integration, automation, and scalable delivery — not training foundation models from scratch.
You’ll join a fast-paced implementation team that shares best practices, iterates rapidly, and continuously improves how AI solutions are delivered across enterprise clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and deploy AI-driven virtual agents into production environments
- Integrate AI systems with customer software, APIs, and existing workflows
- Design and build automation solutions using a combination of software engineering and AI tooling
- Collaborate closely with product, platform, and customer-facing teams to deliver successful implementations
- Leverage modern AI technologies (LLMs, agent frameworks, orchestration tools) to accelerate delivery
- Contribute to improving internal frameworks, tooling, and deployment processes
- Debug, optimise, and iterate on deployed systems based on real-world usage and performance
What We’re Looking For
Core Experience
- Strong software engineering background (Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or similar)
- Experience building and deploying production-grade systems
- Comfortable working with APIs, integrations, and backend services
