The Opportunity

I’m working with a YC-backed InsurTech startup that’s using AI to reinvent how insurers onboard and support customers. They’re building technology that makes insurance faster, more transparent, and more human, helping people get the support they deserve when it matters most.

They’re now looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer with strong fullstack experience, excellent communication skills, and a background in client-facing delivery. This is a hands-on, high-impact role working directly with customers to deploy, customise, and optimise systems that power critical insurance operations.

You’ll be one of the early technical hires, working closely with the founders to shape the product and ensure customers go live quickly and successfully.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Work directly with customer stakeholders, from technical teams to senior executives
• Build and maintain fullstack systems that enable fast, reliable onboarding for insurers
• Deliver accurate insights, reporting, and operational tools that drive customer success
• Lead initiatives to improve the platform based on real customer feedback
• Collaborate closely with product and AI teams to turn ideas into production systems

Tech Stack: Next.js, Node.js, GCP, Postgres, Terraform

What They’re Looking For

• Strong fullstack engineering experience, ideally with modern web frameworks
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments
• A strong academic background in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Genuine interest in applying technology to solve real-world problems in a vital industry
