A high-growth AI startup building the software that powers the next generation of autonomous systems and robotics for defence and critical operations are looking for a Forward Deployed Software Engineer to join their team.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll deploy and integrate advanced AI software directly in customer environments - from defence to autonomous operations. Working hands-on with users, you'll write production-grade code, gather feedback, and shape product direction.
Expect genuine ownership, technical depth, and direct impact from day one, with occasional travel to customer sites across the UK and internationally.
What We're Looking For
- Strong coding skills in Python, C++, or Java
- Frontend experience with React and TypeScript
- Excellent communicator who thrives working directly with users
- Interest in AI, robotics, or embedded systems
- Excited to work in fast-moving, on-site technical environments
