You'll chart the course for our data science function, ensuring sophisticated techniques—from probabilistic modelling to deep learning on temporal data—become robust, deployable systems that create measurable impact.

Your Responsibilities

• Define and deliver an organisation-wide data science strategy
• Recruit, develop, and lead a high-calibre team
• Direct the creation and implementation of production-scale ML solutions
• Uphold rigorous scientific standards and reproducible methodologies across all initiatives
• Partner with executive leadership, collaborators, and key stakeholders
• Serve as the company's data science voice at conferences and industry forums

What You'll Need

• Demonstrated success scaling data science teams and delivering enterprise-level projects
• Deep technical knowledge of time-series ML, probabilistic approaches, and sophisticated modelling techniques
• Solid programming foundation in Python and modern ML frameworks (PyTorch/TensorFlow)
• Proven ability to transition research innovations into production environments
• PhD in a quantitative discipline (preferred) or equivalent professional achievement
• 10+ years of progressive experience, including significant industry exposure
• Outstanding communication skills with the ability to influence across all organisational levels
