BidFX Case Study
BidFX is a London-based FinTech start-up that operates a core trading platform with direct connectivity to all major banks. Their sophisticated trading user interface has gained recognition in the industry, and BidFX was acquired by the Singapore Stock Exchange in 2020. With a mission to disrupt the foreign exchange market, BidFX is a small but fast-growing company that is making waves in the industry with its innovative solutions.
We have had a close working relationship with BidFX's Chief Technology Officer, Paul Sweeny, since the company's inception. During this time, we have been able to successfully source a range of permanent and contract technology professionals for the company.
With global aspirations, BidFX had plans to expand its team and hire 21 technologists within a six month timeframe. However, with no internal recruitment team, BidFX needed a scalable solution to reduce time-to-hire and free up the time of its Chief Technology Officer, Paul Sweeny.
We worked closely with Paul and the wider team of hiring managers to manage the entire project. Our solution offered a customisable campaign solution that met BidFX's needs, freeing up more time for Paul and getting the other hiring managers more involved in the recruitment process.
The COVID-19 pandemic forced us to adapt our way of working with BidFX to the 'new normal'. We put a virtual service in place instead of our onsite recruitment team, assigned a dedicated point of contact, and promoted BidFX's job vacancies on our social media platforms, reaching our 50k+ follower base across LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook.
