Support Engineer
Location: Remote
Day rate: £200-300 (Outside IR35)
Contract Length: 6 Months Rolling
Understanding Solutions is looking for a Junior Support Engineer specifically within Business Central to provide support and guidance to various business units, including E-Commerce, Planning, Performance Marketing, Finance, and Operations.
Responsibilities:
- Providing primary and secondary support for Dynamics NAV/365 Business Central, including weekend on-call support.
- Offering end-to-end support for implementation and post-implementation phases.
- Creating and maintaining accurate technical documentation for solutions.
- Continuously monitoring Business Central system performance and health, pinpointing potential bottlenecks, optimization opportunities, and methods to enhance system efficiency.
Experience:
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV or D365 Business Central.
- Proficient in documenting issues and potential remedies to ensure consistency and minimize recurring problems.
- Familiarity with providing 1st and 2nd line support.
- Knowledge of best practices in software engineering throughout the development lifecycle, including prioritization, agile methodologies, coding standards, code reviews, version control, build processes, testing, and operations.
