Senior Cloud Engineer

We are seeking a Cloud Engineer from a GCP or AWS background to join a Porto based tech Unicorn (currently $5billion valuation), one of the largest providers of enterprise cloud connectivity platforms globally, who are currently undergoing a large scale cloud governance programme.

You will join the enterprise cloud group, building automation tooling to allow streamlined cloud governance, with a particular focus on cloud security controls, identity and access management and encryption mechanisms. The role will have an important impact of the governance and security of enterprise scale public cloud environments.

We are looking for candidates who have had a focus on automating cloud environments using Python in their previous roles. The team are also hiring heavily across their cloud group, and we welcome applications from those interested in wider Cloud/Infrastructure positions.

We are seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer with:

• Demonstrable experience with a variety of GCP or AWS cloud services
• Exposure managing Public Cloud with focus on governance, security, cost and / or reliability
• Good knowledge of Python scripting/programming, preferably used in the context of automation

Salary: Upto €70,000 (depending on the experience) plus bonus, stock, health and wider benefits

Location: Porto, Portugal (hybrid model with office presence required 2x a week)
